LP type Positive Arch common type rupture disc for gas and liquid systerm
LP type Positive Arch common type rupture disc for gas and liquid systerm is arched, concave side pressure in the high-pressure system, the burst pressure is determined by the thickness and tensile strength of the rupture disc material. when protection system overpressure , the bursting disc will be two-way stretch , plastic deformation, wall thinning, eventually rupture discharge pressure, and thus play a role in protecting the system.
Characteristics of the product:
1)The bursting pressure of the product should not be too low due to the intensity of the bursting disc itself thus the maximum operating pressure should be 70% of the bursting pressure.
2)The fluctuating pressure causes metal fatigue so that the fluctuating pressure is not applicable.
3)Due to the high stress on the bursting disc when in use, creep deformation and fatigue rupture occurred results in a comparatively short service life.
4)The temperature has an obvious impact on the bursting pressure.
5)Safety valves cannot be connected in parallel due to fragments after explosion.
According to the processes of the system, relevant auxiliaries such as vacuum bracket and reinforcement ring can be provided for derivatives LPZ, LPT, LF,LFT and so on.
Major types:
1)Forward domed conventional bursting disc LP: should be matched with holder without back pressure and vacuum.
2)Welded bursting disc LPT: should be applied under high pressure and ultra-high pressure.
3)Bursting disc LF.LFT with vacuum bracket: should be applied when vacuum and back pressure are unavoidable.
Applicable holder type: LJ, LJB
